HBO has picked up a pilot from Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's Gary Sanchez Productions. The comedy, based on a former baseball player who becomes a substitute Gym teacher, received a six episode order from the net.
The show stars Danny McBride, Katy Mixon, John Hawkes (of Deadwood fame) and Andrew Daly. Ferrell will work as an executive producer on the project.
