Good Morning Led Zeppelin: GMA's Heavy Mettle

jimmypage.jpg

Good Morning America's Chris Cuomo was having a good time today as the morning show cranked Led Zeppelin several times while bumping in and out of commercials during the "harder news" first hour. The peg? Zeppelin reunites tonight for a one-off at the O2 arena in London. While Zeppelin's legendary guitarist Jimmy Page recently said "it's great to be playing this music again," Cuomo seemed even more delighted. "If this was our theme song, who knows what would happen," Cuomo said as "Whole Lotta Love" thundered in the background. We enjoyed it, too -- particularly seeing Cuomo's celebration of the heavy metal thunder followed by an interview with mega church leader Rick Warren, who spoke of the need to be saved. Wow, we have to watch morning TV more often.
