Yesterday, one of our colleagues in Fancast headquarters worked herself into a froth of anticipation while talking about the February 2 debut of Lipstick Jungle, NBC's sexy new drama based on Candace Bushnell's bestseller. It seemed like an excellent reason to point out that by clicking here, you can watch clips of Brooke Shields, Kim Raver and Lindsay Price in their roles as a movie exec, a magazine editor and a fashion designer, all best friends who are trying to balance work and their personal lives. If you missed that earlier prompt, you can find the same previews here.

I watched "Law and Order SVU" last night. It was a gut wrenching episode about a 14 year old kid who was acting out sexually what he had seen in porn movies and cable tv. He raped 3 girls and a boy. He sees that this kind of brazen sexuality is "OK". It really was a well written but very disturbing episode. As soon as it was over, NBC showed previews for "Lipstick Jungle". This TV show is exactly what was portrayed in "SVU" as THE PROBLEM! I can't believe NBC would air such a provocative SVU then show the crap of Lipstick Jungle. What a double standard - and what a bunch of hypocrites!
