Welcome back to the only 30 minutes out of the day anyone looks forward to being back in The Office. In this latest episode, the second to the last of this season (sad face), Michael (Steve Carell) swaggers into the office and informs Darryl (Craig Robinson), Oscar (Oscar Nunez) and “eye candy” Pam (Jenna Fischer) that they will be attending the job fair at the local high school. Jim Halpert* (John Krasinksi), who has been put on probation by Ryan (B.J. Novak) figures he better get out and hustle some clients so he joins Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) and Andy (Ed Helms) for some golf with Phil. Phil is so bad that even Jim has to work really hard to not beat him. Andy’s got blisters all over his hands from hitting hundreds of balls the night before leading to lots of slapsticky business - golf cart wipe out is particularly hilarious. At the fair in the high school gym Pam reminisces about faking PMS to get out of class. Later after a visit to the art room she ponders the road not taken. This leads her to discuss graphic design options with one of the other job fair employers. Back at the office those left behind decide to take off since Michael’s not around. Dwight (Rainn Wilson) threatens to tell on them and does so after everyone except, guess who - Angela (Angela Kinsey), ditches. Dwight and Angela, the tension is palpable, wait until 5 on the dot to finally leave. Jim closes the deal with Phil by basically blocking his car until he agrees to buy Dunder Mifflin’s paper. After Michael fails to woo back the only kid who seemed the least bit interested in their booth, he gets all abusive on the mike - insulting the likes of H and R Block and the Military. Pam greets Jim back at the office with a jump on him kiss that seems to go on forever.
