Beamed via satellite from Europe, Bruce Springsteen gave a moving tribute to Tim Russert, including a story about playing early one morning at The Today Show. "I remember thinking oh my God, that's Tim Russert," said Springsteen. "We were always proud to have Tim as part of our E Street community. He had a belief in that promised land and the American idea. That's the passion you heard behind all those tough questions on Sunday morning."
